We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education & Languages :
Academic Support Officer (E&L) - (250003N) School/UnitSchool of Education and Languages

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- assisting in the daily activities of the School;
- providing support for the planning and operation of the programmes offered by the School (including student admissions, practicum and timetabling coordination, handling administrative duties related to learning and teaching activities);
- handling programme enquiries and liaising with internal and external parties;
- providing onsite & offsite student admissions support for programmes;
- updating webpages of programmes and the School;
- providing secretarial support for school committees/projects;
- assisting in general administrative duties including preparation of reports, office management, budgeting and staff supervision;
- assisting in supervising supporting staff on day-to-day operations;
- performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of E&L or his/her nominee.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- a recognized bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience;
- a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- good interpersonal and organizational skills;
- high competency in the use of IT applications (e.g. Zoom, Qualtrics);
- good data analysis and management skills;
- ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- investigative nature, good analytical skills as well as detail-minded work attitude;
- a logical mind and strong computer skills (EXCEL in particular);
- previous experience in Graphic Design will be beneficial;
- understanding of web page design and promotional initiatives via social media will be an advantage.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
