Business Development & Sales Associate - CDMO Xellera Therapeutics is a pioneering CDMO specializing in advanced therapy manufacturing. As leaders in the cell and gene therapy (CGT) space and the first to secure a manufacturing license for CAR‑T cells, we deliver transformative solutions to clients worldwide. Join us in driving innovation, growth, and sales in the rapidly evolving biotechnology landscape. Role Summary We are expanding and looking for a Business Development & Sales Associate – CDMO to help drive growth, build strong client relationships, and support commercial activities across APAC, the Middle East, and North America. Responsibilities Support outreach, inbound inquiries, and pipeline tracking. Prepare first drafts of proposals, quotes, pitch decks, and client materials. Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control) to gather technical details. Maintain CRM and follow up with clients consistently and professionally. Assist in organizing meetings, calls, facility tours, and presentations. Help research markets, competitors, and BD opportunities. Represent the company professionally as brand building. Provide clear and timely updates and communication to management. Strong relationship‑building and networking skills. Strategic and commercially minded. Highly organized and detail‑oriented. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to problem‑solve proactively. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Takes ownership and initiative. Positive attitude and team‑oriented. Qualifications & Requirements Master’s or PhD in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or related fields. 3‑5 years of experience (CRO/CDMO/biotech/medical device BD a plus). Strong English and Chinese writing and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable interacting with clinicians, scientists, and business leaders.
