Our client, a well established insurance company is looking for an experienced candidate to join their team for client account handling (financial line) as well as underwriting (Not Agent). Please find the duties below and apply if you are interested:
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the performance of Financial Lines portfolios in underwriting operations, procedures, policy creation, and endorsements.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with agencies, brokers, and various distribution channels.
Prepare policy schedules and endorsements for policy issuance, coordinating with the operations team for premium processing. - Oversee and manage both new and renewal submissions and accounts in line with underwriting standards.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure all aspects and deadlines for delivery are met.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal systems to enhance underwriting and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder ideally in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance sector.
- Possession of relevant professional qualifications, such as ANZIIF or ACII, is a plus.
- Self-driven, proactive, independent, and focused on achieving results.
- Excellent negotiation, teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
