The Co-curricular Programs Team is seeking a dynamic individual with supervisory experience to design and facilitate personal development and experiential learning programs, as well as provide one-on-one or project advising to students. In the role of a learning and development specialist, the appointee will take charge of leading projects and be a role model for less experienced trainers in areas such as needs analysis, curriculum development, learning experience facilitation, feedback on learning evidence, report preparation, program strategy, promotion, and evaluation.
In addition to engaging with students and facilitating their growth, the appointee will help establish strategic partnerships with other university departments to coordinate and implement student development initiatives. The appointee may be required to work outside regular office hours occasionally and fulfill other duties assigned by the Office.
Applicants should possess a recognized bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience such as experiential education or youth development, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Familiarity with higher education program administration will be advantageous. The appointee must be a quick learner who can effectively apply the latest pedagogy and technology to engage students, while independently managing multiple project-based assignments. Excellent communication skills and a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English are essential. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be self-motivated, action-oriented with a growth mindset, and possess mature stakeholder management skills. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
