Associate Director, Business DevelopmentAon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeThe development and execution of a defined sales strategyDeveloping a robust sales and prospecting pipeline focusing on the local and large marketOwnership and full responsibility for converting those identified prospects into clients and managing an appropriate handover to the Account Management TeamsDeveloping cross-sell opportunities by demonstrating risk and people expertise and an ability to help solve clients' needsLeading and managing responses to tenders and developing quality presentations as needed, working with the relevant expertiseDriving cross-selling and up-selling activities, including where appropriate the introduction of Aon United colleagues/servicesFollowing the Aon sales process protocols, including clearly defined sales strategy and activity, accurate pipeline reporting updates through Aon ConnectPerforming other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by the ManagerContributing, as required, to Health Solutions initiatives & leadership forumsSkills and experience that will lead to successUniversity graduate with minimum 10 years' working experience in Employee Benefits in broker firm(s) or insurance company(ies) preferredHolder of FLMI or passed in IIQE Paper I, II, III & IV are preferredMature and a self-starterGood organization skills and effective interpersonal skillsGood analytics and negotiation skillsGood command of written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantageGood command of computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
