We are hiring for one of our portfolio companies; they're looking for an Assistant Manager, Business Development to join their team. In this role, you will: Develop and implement growth strategies to expand wholesale, affiliate, and B2 B channels, achieving revenue targets and maximizing market share. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new wholesale and B2 B partners in the retail space, creating sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships. Manage affiliate partnerships by identifying and recruiting affiliates who align with our brand, overseeing performance, and optimizing for growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, affiliates, and B2 B clients, ensuring clear communication and long-term engagement. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and finance) to create compelling offers, campaigns, and sales initiatives for each channel. Analyze sales data and performance metrics across channels to identify opportunities, refine strategies, and support decision-making. Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and adapt strategies as needed. You might thrive in this role if you have:3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management in the retail industry. Proven track record of building and managing relationships in wholesale and B2 B partnerships within the retail sector. Experience in affiliate marketing, including recruitment and management of affiliate partners. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and drive results. Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and analytics tools to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
