Responsibilities: The appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s marketing/promotional programs and activities for promoting Belt and Road Initiative and Greater Bay Area, including: Oversee and execute promotional activities and ASEAN markets for different projects Recruit Hong Kong and overseas speakers, sponsors, project owners, exhibitors and service providers Manage the Belt and Road Portal, including upgrades and user engagement Organise seminars/webinars, business delegations and other promotional events as assigned Liaise and coordinate with HKTDC mainland and overseas Branch Offices, external parties such as government, industry institutions, associations and media Handle and supervise the logistical issues such as delegates travel, venue setup and information preparation Provide on-site support and other administrative support as necessary Requirements: A recognised university degree with at least 8 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena covering various industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing (including social media and online marketing) and communication Experience on managing internet platforms and engaging users A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, willing to try new things, and outgoing with good project planning ability Innovative, flexible and able to deliver under time and resource pressure Knowledge of corporate/project financing is an added advantage Candidates with less solid experience will be offered the position of Assistant Manager, Service Promotion. Remuneration and Benefits: The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs.
