About the Role: The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks talented individuals dedicated to realizing the vision of establishing the West Kowloon Cultural District as a premier destination for arts, culture, and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement infrastructure transformation strategies that align with the overall IT framework.
  • Lead transformation initiatives by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including digital infrastructure for museums and smart operational solutions for the district.
  • Engage with essential stakeholders, including senior leadership, IT departments, and business units, to assess infrastructure transformation requirements, priorities, and opportunities.
  • Research and analyze emerging digital workplace trends, technologies, and best practices to propose innovative solutions that foster continuous improvement and operational excellence in IT.
  • Oversee the execution and management of IT projects and initiatives, focusing on technology integration, digital transformation, and process enhancement.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in infrastructure transformation, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management, showcasing the progress, achievements, and impact of infrastructure transformation efforts.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to assess, select, and implement infrastructure solutions.
  • Offer guidance and support to IT teams in developing and executing operational plans, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • A recognized university degree or higher in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT technology development and planning, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to address complex IT challenges, develop innovative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in conducting IT assessments, benchmarking, and driving improvements in IT processes.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to shifting priorities and delivering results under pressure.
  • Experience in analyzing solution options; consultancy experience is advantageous.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
