Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Global Executive Consultants Ltd. as an Assistant General Manager, IT Integration Services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversight and Management
  • Oversee the progress, resources, and technology changes for all IT projects related to IT infrastructure and security.
Market Analysis and Roadmap Development
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and drive the standard and roadmap for the bank's infrastructure technology.
End-to-End Solution Design and Implementation
  • Ensure end-to-end solution design and project implementation down to operation for ongoing support.
Standards and Practices
  • Define and maintain standards and practices for system interfaces and deployments to ease support and change management of complex systems.
Infrastructure Analysis and Recommendation
  • Analyze and recommend different infrastructure components to compose the best-fit solution to enable business applications.
Legacy System Integration
  • Review and integrate legacy system functions into new technologies for efficient system management.
Resource Optimization
  • Drive the utilization of existing infrastructure to optimize resources as well as elevate the standard to match market practices.
Process Development
  • Develop and standardize the CIR (Consolidated Infrastructure Request) process and Asset Life Cycle Management process.
Rollout and Implementation
  • Coordinate and promote the rollout of head office's infrastructure standard to overseas branches.
Procurement and Management
  • Build a procurement standard, package, and price-book for budgetary and recharging.
Project and Integration Management
  • Manage all procurement for Infrastructure and Security solutions, BAU contracts, and HW/SW maintenance.
Ad-Hoc Tasks
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by management related to Project and integration services.
Requirements
  1. Education
  • Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline.
Experience
  • At least 12 years' experience in Infrastructure and Security solution implementation and project management.
People Management
  • At least 6 years' experience in people management.
Certifications
  • Holder of MCSE / MCITP, VCP, CCNA, CCNP, and/or RHCE.
Preferred Certifications
  • ITIL / PMP certification is preferred.
  • Certified in CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other recognized certificates is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Solid experience in managing IT projects and solution design for retail banking.
  • Thorough knowledge of risk management practices in IT Infrastructure, IT Application, and Service Management.
  • Competent in issue reporting/presentation and stakeholder management.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements such as HKMA (TM-E-1, TM-G-1, TM-G-2, SA-2), MAS, CBRC, FFIEC, etc. Knowledgeable of overseas banking regulatory requirements, particularly in Singapore, China, Macau, and the US is an advantage.
  • Familiar with industry technology standards or requirements such as PCI-DSS and NIST, CSX, etc.
  • Good understanding of industry best practices e.g., NIST, ISO27001, COBIT, etc.
  • Experience in handling IT procurement and asset life cycle management.
