As part of the TP ICAP group, ICAP offers a wide array of execution and information services to wholesale market participants. We provide broking services covering various asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds, and Rates. Each asset class benefits from e-trading capability, allowing clients to enter prices and execute trades directly via our hybrid electronic trading systems or engage with brokers who can negotiate trades on their behalf.

Role Overview

The Delta 1 and Volatility business is seeking a seasoned broker to join their desk. In this role, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for broking Delta 1 and Volatility contracts, providing exceptional service to customers in these markets to drive revenue generation. This includes developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying prospective new clients, and contributing to the ongoing success of the desk. Additionally, the individual may be required to cover other brokers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote TP ICAP's brand and values to enhance its reputation.
  • Understand Global Broking's overall business strategy and align it with your work.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop the desk's business strategy by identifying new opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products, and clients, and implement agreed plans.
  • Maintain constant contact with relevant individuals and organisations to identify buyers and sellers, facilitate price discovery, and create necessary liquidity for deals.
  • Oversee customer relationship management, including maintaining relationships with strategically important and major clients.
  • Manage clients and lines on the desk proactively (account allocation, dealing with customer issues, etc.).
  • Lead and manage people development in alignment with business strategy, building a high-performing team and succession planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with pertinent regulations and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes and internal/external governance in partnership with Infrastructure teams.
  • Support a risk-aware culture and encourage behaviours that comply with group policies.
  • Contribute to setting the tone and instilling company values.

  • In-depth understanding of Delta 1 and Volatility products.
  • Exceptional client focus and delivery skills.
  • Fluent Japanese language skills.
