Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management:
  • Assist the Head of Merchandising with weekly stock replenishment for our stores by accurately tracking inventory movements in and out of the warehouse.
  • Ensure timely updates to inventory for all non-sales activities, such as customer exchanges, transfers, consignment returns, and staff purchases.
  • Organize stock in the office to maintain tidy collections and displays, catering to various needs such as events, marketing, and replenishment.
  • Analyze product performance to effectively balance inventory across stores and enhance sales.
  • Support new market (e.g. Japan) opening assortment and stock preparation that are in line with new market business expansion plan.
  • Support regular replenishment for new market (e.g. Japan).
Consignment Management
  • Manage the consignment assortment by introducing new styles and phasing out older ones as needed.
  • Ensure regular replenishment to consignment locations on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of consignment sales and inventory flow.
  • Collaborate with the consignment stocker on stock allocation and assess back stock to refine replenishment strategies.
  • Share new product offerings with consignment partners and obtain new item codes.
  • Keep detailed records for all consignment codes.
  • Conduct consignment visits as necessary to support changeovers and replenishment efforts.
Product Creation and Master Maintenance
  • Create new products in our retail and warehouse portals, ensuring the correct attributes are assigned.
  • Maintain the Product Master to reflect accurate attributes, pricing, and SKU numbers across all portals.
  • Upload product photos to both retail and warehouse portals.
Logistics Coordination
  • Initiate the most efficient and cost-effective shipments from our vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate shipments from various vendors.
  • Create inbound orders for incoming shipments to the warehouse.
  • Ensure inbound orders are processed in a timely manner and report any discrepancies.
  • Support outbound orders from the warehouse or office to points of sale by arranging optimal transport solutions.
Store Operation Support
  • Conduct store visits during peak and non-peak periods to gain insights into customer behavior and inventory status.
  • Prepare for new shop or consignment openings.
  • Communicate effectively with frontline staff regarding all product-related matters, including product strategies, top sellers, and out-of-stock situations.
  • Coordinate sampling efforts between our European manufacturing and B2B partners.
  • Understand the laboratory testing requirements from specific B2B partners, conduct quality tests, and identify areas for improvement with our manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with our warehouse partner in Hong Kong on bulk shipments, manage the quality-check procedures, and provide defect reports along with recommended corrective actions.
  • Prepare inspection reports for our B2B partners.
  • Monitor logistics costs for each shipment and suggest strategies to reduce costs as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese (Cantonese is a MUST).
  • Degree or Diploma in Fashion Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related business discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management or retail merchandising.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, essential for thriving in a collaborative retail environment.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to excel under tight timelines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Self-motivated team player who is enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic team.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new processes, showcasing your dedication to grow professionally.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
  • Experience in owning, running, or operating a business—regardless of its scale or industry—along with a solid understanding of business fundamentals, will be a significant advantage.
