About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our Asia team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our Data Privacy and AI Compliance framework across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our annual compliance plan for Asia, focusing on Data Privacy and AI Compliance, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption objectives.
  • Promote and implement our Group Data Privacy & AI Compliance Policies and requirements within the AXA entities in Asia, and coordinate the cooperation and information/best practices sharing between the Data Privacy Officers (DPOs) in Asia and the Group.
  • Provide advice and support on projects/assessments to Asia Compliance and the Asia entities on Data Privacy and AI Compliance, including risk assessments, policy development, and third-party agreements.
  • Update and maintain Asia Compliance policies and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness of our Data Privacy and AI Compliance framework.
  • Review entities' compliance reports and assessments, provide meaningful comments to local compliance teams, and coordinate submission and updates to Group Compliance.
  • Conduct timely follow-up of actions identified from compliance reviews and update the action status to the Group Compliance system.
  • Assist in the preparation of training and communications materials on Data Privacy and AI Compliance topics.
  • Coordinate and gather responses for AXA Group reporting and ad-hoc requests as needed.
Requirements
  • University graduate with a degree in a relevant field, such as Law, Commerce, or Business.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in data privacy or a related area, with knowledge of insurance products, compliance processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, with other relevant Asian languages (particularly Cantonese and/or Mandarin) an advantage.
