Job Description

As a key member of the Asia Investment Management team, the Compliance Director will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust compliance program that ensures the company's adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program that addresses regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to investment managers and other stakeholders on compliance matters, including regulatory filings, AML, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and mitigate compliance risks, and develop strategies to address emerging issues.
  • Design and implement compliance reporting and monitoring systems to ensure effective compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate efforts related to regulatory reviews, exams, and audits, and ensure timely and effective responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulators and industry associations to stay informed on regulatory developments and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to investment managers and other stakeholders on compliance matters, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in asset management compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective compliance programs, and providing guidance and support to stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, investment managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and stay up-to-date on emerging issues and best practices.
