About the Role:
OceanBase is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing territory plans to acquire new customers and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales quota by acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth.
  • Manage a territory and develop a plan to achieve individual quota.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through excellent time management and sales discipline.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, Product Development, and Management teams to feedback on customer requirements and drive opportunity development.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise/Cloud sales at an established technology company.
  • Possess current relationships with relevant customers in Hong Kong.
  • Working knowledge of database and/or cloud computing fields.
  • Track record engaging and influencing senior executives and familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Native Cantonese proficiency and professional English proficiency (speaking and reading).
