About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Travel Experience Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to work with clients and create unforgettable travel experiences.
- In this role, you will be responsible for crafting personalized itineraries that exceed client expectations.
- You will utilize your expertise to anticipate client needs and preferences, providing expert guidance throughout the planning process.
- Responsibilities include:
- Completing client requests within agreed deadlines using specialist knowledge of suppliers (hotels, tour operators, airlines).
- Proposing suitable options that match client requirements and offer the best price available by sourcing various quotations.
- Using commercial judgment to secure maximum supplier revenue without compromising the client.
- Understanding client requirements by taking an excellent brief, asking relevant questions, building rapport, and gaining their trust.
- Agreeing appropriate response times in line with company targets, completing the request on call with the client or self-allocating the request.
- Creating packages ensuring legal requirements are followed, competitive and secure supplier contracts are in place, and gross margins align with commercial targets.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations related to the country of the client and supplier.
- The client should be aware of booking conditions and consumer protection arrangements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A passion for travel with extensive experience in the industry, preferably with international business experience.
- Outstanding language skills in professional English and Mandarin/Cantonese, written and spoken (HSK K-advanced level, HSK 5 or 6) to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
- Experience with Amadeus or other GDS systems is desirable.
- An understanding of luxury lifestyles and affluent customers, with excellent research skills.
- Flexibility: This position is a full-time 40-hrs per week role on a shift basis.
What We Offer
- A highly competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including attractive bonuses and career development opportunities.
