Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music and Media Production Instructor to join our team at the Vocational Training Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and training students in music and media production, as well as assisting in programme development and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students' projects, musical performances, and fieldwork placements.
- To assist in programme development and teaching and learning packages.
- To perform duties in relation to student and academic administration.
- To participate in projects and functions, including music shows, graduation shows, seminars, and exhibitions, as required.
Requirements
- A recognised Higher Diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years' work or teaching experience in the relevant industry.
- Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
- Good records of linkage with industry or professional bodies will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in the music industry or live shows/events would be an advantage.
- Ability to pass a trade test.
Notes
- Candidates without the required academic qualifications but possessing 8 years' relevant experience may also apply.
- Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications, or those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience, may also apply.
- In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
- The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
