Opportunity Summary

As the leader of the procurement operations division, you will be responsible for managing the comprehensive procurement process, including intake, sourcing, contracting, and various regional and local procedures across Asia.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • At least 10 years of operational experience, ideally in Procurement, Finance, or Payment-related fields.
  • Proven experience in a global organization, leading teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with the complete procurement cycle and operational models, particularly offshore COE models, along with experience in implementing Procurement P2P tools (e.g., Ariba, Ivalua) is highly desirable.
  • Background in financial institutions or insurance companies is preferred.
  • A mindset geared towards operations and workflow optimization, with the ability to navigate workflow interdependencies.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
  • A proactive attitude, willing to explore and formalize new solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convey insights through storytelling.
  • Proficient in team building and change management.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • A cooperative and collaborative approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive operating model for in-house sourcing teams and offshore procurement operations.
  • Collaborate with regional and country sourcing teams to create and execute an efficient operational framework.
  • Oversee all operational resources related to procurement activities, including sourcing, operations, technology, tools, and risk governance support.
  • Partner with technology leadership to execute the procurement technology strategy.
  • Work alongside Vendor Risk Management to ensure key risk indicators are met.
  • Contribute to the global procurement operations branding and communication strategy.
  • Enhance change management capabilities across the Asia procurement landscape.
