About the Role

The Edge Partnership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sourcing to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sourcing strategy to support our small appliances business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sourcing strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to expand our supplier base and ensure a robust and diversified supply chain.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating favorable commercial terms and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and quality standards for small appliances.
  • Optimize material flow, inventory levels, and working capital through effective logistics and procurement practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact small appliance sourcing.
  • Set and track sourcing KPIs such as supplier on-time delivery, defect rates, cost savings, and sustainability metrics.
  • Provide strategic sourcing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support business growth and profitability goals.

Requirements

  • Degree in Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in a sourcing role, with experience in the small domestic appliances/home appliances/kitchenware industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Proficient in project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Willingness to travel.
