We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Asia Logistics team as the Head of Asia Operations. This is a critical role that will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our freight forwarding business in Asia.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of professionals responsible for all aspects of CGF Operations in Asia, including origin operations, container freight station operations, and origin business incubation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.
- Manage and execute large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering, problem-solving, and communicating recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, with a proven track record of leadership and results-driven performance.
- 5+ years of management experience, with a strong ability to lead and prioritize projects and delegate tasks effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to engage with audiences ranging from C-suite level executives to junior associates and labor.
- Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential for this role, with experience living and working in both China and the United States being a plus.
