Job Description

The Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing key prospects and partners across various industries. This includes building prospect engagement strategies, partnering with marketing and product teams to develop a qualified pipeline, and delivering high-quality presentations and proposals to C-suite stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in enterprise sales, preferably in the payments industry, and possess exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to negotiate complex structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify potential prospects and partners across various industries.
  • Develop and execute prospect engagement strategies in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
  • Pitch Checkout.com's payment solutions and value-added services to eCommerce and Fintech companies.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and proposals to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Become an expert on Checkout.com's technology stack and provide detailed answers to prospective merchants' questions.
  • Orchestrate the entire sales process, drive urgency, and work towards mutual action plans.
  • Maintain a solid portfolio and nurture key accounts through a deep understanding of their industry, pain points, and needs.
  • Partner with other sales managers to share best practices, insights, and industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the payments industry.
  • A proven track record of high performance.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to effectively negotiate complex structures.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
