Job Description

Hang Seng Bank Limited is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our Global Markets division as Executive Vice President - Equity Financing & Structuring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of equity financing and structuring strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage a team of professionals to deliver high-quality equity financing and structuring solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with sales channels across all Business Units to roll out equity financing and structuring solutions to the Bank's customers.
  • Maximise the profitability and expand the market share of Global Markets business in relation to financing and structured products.
  • Act as a product expert, providing technical expertise and education to marketing staff and clients.
  • Stay alert to any market events impacting the business and closely monitor collateral risks on the trading books.
Requirements
  • University degree holder with minimum 5 years relevant experience in a trading role, proven track record in managing a trading book in equity asset class.
  • Thorough understanding of equities market, regulations and products; deep knowledge in securities financing markets across Asia.
  • Expertise in equity collateral trading, funding management and related hedging activities.
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to details, be able to work in a fast-paced trading desk environment.
