Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Merchandising Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product development and order execution processes with vendors, customers, and internal parties to meet KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire product development and order execution processes with vendors, customers, and internal parties to meet KPIs.
  • Build a strong local and regional vendor network to support business growth.
  • Establish vendor strategies, product costing/placement, manage vendor relationships, and production oversight to optimize performance.
  • Responsible for ensuring products meet established standards for safety and quality in alignment with customer sourcing objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Develops, mentors, and trains team members, providing appropriate direction and environment needed for success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 7 years or above experience in merchandising industry for toys products, candidate with less experience will also be considered as Senior Merchandiser.
  • Familiar with EU toys market and product compliance requirements.
  • Exposure to sourcing and production of multiple toys products and possesses different material knowledge.
  • Familiar with merchandising and product development processes.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent communication skills with overseas customers and vendors are essential.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  • Well-organized individual, expertise in negotiation, detail-minded, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • Occasional travel is required.
