We are seeking an Academic Support Associate to join our team at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Job SummaryThis is a contract position for two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. As an Academic Support Associate, you will be responsible for delivering administrative support to lecturers, conducting tutorials, preparing course materials, grading assignments, and providing student consultation/supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver administrative support to lecturers, including assisting with lectures in weekday evenings and on Saturdays;
- Conduct tutorials and prepare course materials;
- Grade assignments and objective examination questions;
- Provide student consultation/supervision and other academic activities as assigned;
- A Master's degree in Finance, Economics or related fields with at least 2 years of relevant working experience;
- A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese & Putonghua);
- Good presentation skills, a meticulous attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and good interpersonal and management skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
The appointee will be offered a competitive salary of HK$55,000 - HK$60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the monthly salary, we also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid annual leave.
