We are seeking a Strategic Finance Leader to join our team at Projob21 Ltd., reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, reconciliation of securities and cash account holdings, as well as overseeing middle office and portfolio control.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to take on a leadership role in our global alternative investment business. The Strategic Finance Leader will be accountable for preparing Head Office Financial Reporting and facilitating the preparation of Management Reporting. They will also support end-to-end fund operations and funds capital calls/distributions activities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily operations, including reconciliation of securities and cash account holdings.
- Oversight of middle office and portfolio control, working closely with the Investment team.
- Responsible for month-end closing, quarterly financial & management reporting to annual audit.
- Support end-to-end fund operations and funds capital calls/distributions activities.
- Prepare Head Office Financial Reporting and facilitate the preparation of Management Reporting.
- Well-qualified graduate/Degree in accounting or related discipline.
- Big4 trained with relevant finance, operations/middle office experience with asset management/global markets/private equity firms.
- Understanding of Private Equity/Hedge Funds/trade life cycle.
- Report to Financial Controller and Senior Managers.
- Accountable for supporting month-end closing and full set of accounts for various entities in HK & APAC.
- Facilitate financial audit and tax filing.
- Review T&E payment/reimbursement by working closely with vendors.
- APAC Fund Accounting, L/P and Capital call.
