Strategic Investment Professional for Private Equity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Manager/Investment Manager to join our team at BOCHK Asset Management Ltd.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time position that will be responsible for conducting thorough due diligence on private equity managers, strategies, and performance across global markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment analysis, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate investment opportunities, risks, and potential returns to determine suitability for inclusion in the portfolio.
- Identify and assess potential private equity managers based on various criteria, including investment strategy, historical performance, risk management, and alignment of interests.
- Monitor the performance and risk characteristics of existing holdings and identify any potential issues or changes that may impact the fund's performance.
- Prepare investment recommendations and reports based on comprehensive research and analysis and clearly communicate findings and insights to team leaders.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the Company.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or CAIA preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as an investment professional within a private equity fund of funds, alternative investment in insurance companies, asset management firm, or investment bank with a strong focus on global markets.
- Deep understanding of private equity fund strategies, investment techniques, and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
