We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Equity Investment Associate to join our dynamic Investment Advisory team in Hong Kong.

**Job Description**

  • This exciting new role will see you working closely with the Group Head and Team Head to develop investment recommendations on shortlisted funds, as well as making presentations of these recommendations to overseas clients on a semi-annual basis.
  • You will be responsible for conducting market research, monitoring investments, and attending investor conferences and one-to-one meetings with external managers.
  • You will also be required to coordinate with the Head Office in Japan on calling investment committee procedures and managing the timeline for subscription.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in private equity-related investment, equity research, asset management, consulting, investment advisor, or family office is essential.
  • An MBA or equivalent qualification is considered an asset.
  • CFA, CAIA, CPA, or CA designation is also highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (both oral and written), and presentation skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Superior analytical and valuation skills, as well as proficiency in financial modeling, are also required.
  • The ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • A strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility is also expected.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and creativity are highly valued in this role.
  • A willingness to travel regularly is a must.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
