Front Office Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Office Agent to join our team at Marriott International. As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, processing all guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all guest check-ins and check-outs, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Answer and record all guest calls, messages, and requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding the property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements

- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

- Anticipate and address guests' service needs.

- Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
