Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in the insurance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of individual insurance products, along with operational workflows.
  • Proven experience in enhancing life insurance policy administration systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to varying work hours.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a disciplined approach to project timelines.
  • Self-motivated with a robust desire for continuous learning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with SQL.
  • Ability to communicate business processes and concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in complex testing execution and support.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring junior team members to foster independence.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess requests from various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Develop user requirement documentation and specifications, including mock-ups for proposed solutions.
  • Conduct impact assessments and provide cost-effective recommendations.
  • Facilitate discussions and build consensus among stakeholders, business partners, and IT teams.
  • Participate in project planning from inception to completion, tracking requirements and testing progress.
  • Serve as an internal expert in business systems and advocate for best practices.
  • Deliver quality training to business users on system functionalities.
  • Define testing strategies, create test plans, and oversee testing teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve system and project-related issues.
  • Generate and analyze reports to fulfill diverse business and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior analysts, enhancing their business analysis skills.
