Regional Sales Manager

Riedel Communications is a leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. To cater to our customers' needs comprehensively, we operate three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks.

Our Product Division develops, manufactures, and distributes audio, video, IT, and communication solutions. With our live production tools for the media, sports, entertainment, and corporate industries, we deliver a wide range of high-quality and cutting-edge products that are among the most innovative in the industry.

We are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team and contribute to our success. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, capturing market share, and achieving territory sales quotas.

Your Responsibilities

  • Focus on sales, capturing market share, and sales tracking to achieve territory sales quota;
  • Continuously evaluate market trends and gather competitive information that affects the growth of sales and profitability for the region and future product potential;
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof of concept demos with the appropriate technical service department;
  • Provide sales and product education for Riedel's resellers and coordinate end-user training with the Technical Services Department regularly;
  • Sell to end users in coordination and determines based on customer preference direct fulfillment or with partners;
  • Lead sales presentations with customers and channel partners;
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts;
  • Track sales pipeline and bookings against quota and other metrics;
  • Leverage strategic relationships and business partnerships to drive revenue;
  • Represent Riedel at regional trade shows;
  • Relationship Management:
    • Manage, develop, and own productive relationships with key personnel in all customers in the region;
    • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
    • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet customer expectations;
    • Coordinate corporate resources, including technical, service, and support customer objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a combination of business and technology;
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment (Pro-)Audio/Video market and/or live production;
  • Possess relevant, proven 'system' sales experience for manufacturing and system integration;
  • Must have an understanding of the nature and demands of Broadcast, Entertainment, and all other Riedel Markets;
  • Proven experience in working with upscale companies, venues, and clients is preferred;
  • Proficient presentation and communication skills, verbal and written, are mandatory;
  • Effectively communicate and disseminate information to sales management, marketing department, sales operations, and technical services in a timely and respectful manner;
  • Appreciates the importance and use of database management programs such as SalesForce;
  • Team player that fits the personality and basic setting of an international, medium-sized company;
  • Ability to cross-domain thinking and willingness to collaborate closely with other company functions using excellent communication skills.
