HSBC is seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as an Associate - Hedge Fund Investment Specialist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders across HSBC Global Asset Management and support the growth of the Hedge Fund business.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the global growth plan, including new product launches and campaigns for the capability.
- Work with the Head of Investment Specialists to champion the capability both internally and externally and help in the execution of the sales strategy for new and existing products and capabilities.
- Manage the processes and infrastructure needed to deliver team plans and targets, identifying and implementing improvements and collaborating with colleagues to maximise end-to-end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Work in partnership with Risk and Compliance to ensure procedures and controls in place are fit for purpose.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude.
- Experience of client management useful and knowledge of the range of different structural solutions helpful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
- An in-depth knowledge of hedge fund products and gained through experience, education or certification.
- Fluency in Mandarin (and Cantonese is ideal but not a must).
