**Job Summary**

The Treasury Funding Specialist will play a critical role in the tactical management of AIIB's balance sheet, focusing on the preparation, execution, and documentation of borrowings in international and local currencies. The successful candidate will also be involved in investor marketing-related activities and associated derivatives transactions.

**Responsibilities**

Borrowing and Liability Management

* Participate in the analysis and execution of borrowing and liability management strategies to achieve AIIB's authorized borrowing program.* Assist in the daily correspondence, meetings, and discussions with Bank intermediaries to facilitate AIIB's funding operations.

Investor Marketing

* Support the Head of Funding in investor marketing activities, including the maintenance of the investor database, roadshow planning, and follow-up.* Recommend and present transactions for execution to the Head of Funding through discussions to ensure proper review and alignment with AIIB's objectives.

Treasury Systems and Reporting

* Perform deal entry into treasury systems and maintain other data required for reporting, such as the Funding dashboard.* Monitor and maintain call schedules for all transactions with optionality.

Impact Reporting and ESG

* Contribute to the production of the Bank's Impact Report by assembling and reviewing metrics to be included in each report.* Stay up-to-date on ESG-related reporting standards.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement

* Maintain internal controls in the approved environment.* Contribute proactively to the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Treasury function by leveraging technology, promoting automation, and defining best-in-class processes and procedures.

Ad Hoc Tasks

* Perform ad hoc Treasury tasks as required.

**Requirements**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in treasury management. The ideal candidate should have:

Key Qualifications**

* Proactive, detail-oriented, conscientious, and systematic approach to work.* Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle pressure well.* Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.* Excellent spreadsheet and database skills.* Familiarity with treasury management systems.* Minimum 5-8 years of experience working in a relevant field, with a minimum of three years of practical experience on an international funding desk.* Master's degree in finance, business, or equivalent work experience.* Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
