About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Macao. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your financial expertise and leadership skills to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain close relations with hotel ownership and internal/external auditors, ensuring effective action on all agreed-upon recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to establish policies, rules, internal controls, and safeguards that maximize hotel profitability.
  • Deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Effectively communicate Finance Department programs and policies to senior management, department heads, and employee groups.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and billing collections to achieve company standards.
  • Maintain files on contracts, leases, and agreements, ensuring compliance and proper authorization.
  • Ensure accurate balance of long-term debt and interest accruals, recording expenses accordingly.
  • Closely manage labor costs, plan vacations effectively, and maintain service levels while minimizing overtime.
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets as required by local authorities, corporate office, or Management Agreement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of management experience in finance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • A 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and job knowledge of positions in Accounting, Purchasing, and Food & Beverage control.
  • Familiarity with computer equipment and Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills; proficiency in Chinese is beneficial.
  • Strategic, analytical, and solid business acumen.
