The Job

We seek an experienced workshop manager to join our team. This critical role involves supporting the Service Manager in driving the workshop team towards meeting its business objectives, upholding high operational standards, and delivering superior service quality while adhering to strict audit protocols.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Direct the workshop team, working closely with the Service Manager to plan and evaluate their performance, ensuring the achievement of agreed-upon business targets.
  2. Maximise workshop efficiency, productivity, and repair quality through effective operation strategies.
  3. Ensure adherence to the Porsche Service Process standards established by our principal company.
  4. Maintain the required standards and successfully complete internal audits for each service centre.
  5. Offer technical advice on diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
  6. Forge strong working relationships with colleagues across different departments to guarantee seamless operations and timely delivery.
  7. Conduct test drives with customers to determine needed repairs and communicate clearly with them.
  8. Sustain a safe and fully functional work environment, encompassing facilities and equipment.
  9. Take charge of any special projects and assignments given by senior personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience as a Workshop Manager or equivalent role, particularly in the European automotive sector.
  • Independent, responsible, and capable of functioning efficiently under time constraints.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Native-level fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese typing skills.
