Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Commercial Lending Expert to join our team at Global Executive Consultants Ltd.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing credit information, approving credit applications, and recommending commercial credit proposals within assigned lending authority. They will work closely with relationship managers to provide recommendations on addressing and mitigating credit risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exercise judgment under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze all types of credit information for credit analysis, appraisals, and assessment of credit applications for commercial lending
- Approve credit applications and recommend commercial credit proposals within assigned lending authority
- Work with relationship managers to provide recommendations on addressing and/or mitigating credit risks
- Review and ensure terms and conditions adhere to Credit Policy, existing bank's credit control standards, credit policy guidelines, delegated limits, and regulatory requirements in Commercial Banking
- Recommend solutions to business teams in terms of facility structure, balancing of risk and return, and to maximize protection to the Bank
Requirements and Qualifications
- University graduate
- 7 years' experience in credit assessment/credit analysis/credit approval with commercial banking
- Skills in financial analysis and credit risk analysis on commercial accounts of Hong Kong, PRC, and multinational clients with coverage in trade finance, mortgage, and property investment/development financing and FX products etc
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and able to manage confrontational issues
- Able to exercise judgment, work under great pressure, and liaise effectively with various business units and supporting units
- Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English including Cantonese and Putonghua
- Candidates with Commercial Banking Relationship Management will be considered
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is approximately HK$55,000 - HK$70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits may include opportunities for professional development and career growth within a dynamic and global organization.
