Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with expediting problem payments and follow up on guest-related issues
  • Process all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys
  • Process various payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, including separate room, tax, and incidentals
  • Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain alternative accommodations when necessary
  • Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
  • Review shift logs and document pertinent information in logbooks
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift and balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • License or certification not required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related work experience in a hotel or hospitality setting
