We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Banking Manager to join our team at Mizuho Bank, Ltd. in Hong Kong.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing banking business activities with government and semi-government organizations and financial institutions. This includes marketing activities, credit proposals, and other administrative duties assigned by Section Head and Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To follow the policy and direction of the Team/ Branch and assist supervisors in accomplishing the Team's/ Branch's overall duties and responsibilities at all times;
  • To assist Section Head in preparing general business reports for business review meetings;
  • To handle customer enquiries, KYC, account opening, maintenance documentation and loan documentation for potential and existing customers;
  • To provide backup support to other BP(s) during daily operations and leave when needed;
  • To assist supervisors in preparing credit proposals or call memos and in collecting related information;
  • Caution instruction issue, subject to relevant Procedure Manual and The Management's instruction issued from time to time;
  • To assist Section Head to monitor existing credit commitments to identify potential credit problems and to ensure conformity with agreement terms together with CA Section; and to recommend and implement appropriate action should an unfavorable trend develop;
Essential Functions:
  • The role is responsible to support its Section Head and superiors to maintain and develop banking business activities with Global Institutional Banking clients including marketing activities and other works.
  • To coordinate with Middle / Bank office / subsidiaries and affiliates of Mizuho Financial Group for smooth banking operations.
Requirements:
  • At least 8-10 years' experience in Corporate Banking and experience in covering the relevant organizations/institutions;
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related disciplines;
  • Excellent communication or presentation skills;
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint;

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range between HKD 800,000 - HKD 1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
