Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Operation Manager to join our team at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership Role: Supervise a team of professionals to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including credit card business, insurance, IPO receiving bank services, dividend payment services, special status maintenance, handling government and external inquiries about customer accounts, ATM services, and other related tasks.
  • Communication and Coordination: Establish effective communication channels with internal and external parties, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration to achieve operational goals.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize operation workflows to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Project Management: Plan, monitor, and control the implementation of projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting project objectives.
  • Crisis Management: Respond promptly to emergencies and report to superiors, demonstrating proactive crisis management skills.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Hold a Higher Diploma or above in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Possess 5 years of experience in the banking or financial industry, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Candidates with more experience will be considered for senior positions.
  • Professional Certifications: Holding a Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is an advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Have good knowledge of Personal Data Privacy Ordinance, banking law, and credit card business-related regulatory governance.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate maturity, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure, with a willingness to take on challenges.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong organizational, analytical, time management, and risk awareness skills, with proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
  • Language Proficiency: Have excellent communication skills, with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
