Job Summary
HSBC is seeking a high-calibre professional to lead our Wealth and Personal Banking team as a Branch Sales Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the branch's business plan to achieve the Bank's objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of Premier Relationship Managers and HSBC Premier Elite Directors to maximize performance and achieve WPB business objectives.
- Monitor and control product performance for Relationship Management stream.
- Collaborate with specialists to drive branch activities and work closely with other branch management teams and specialists.
- Ensure staff have conducted regular reviews with customers and provide appropriate wealth management products according to customer needs.
- Develop the relationship manager team culture and build a strong sense of team spirit.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven frontline experience in financial services, with outstanding track record of supervisory experience in a management capacity.
- Good knowledge of all wealth management products, including insurance and investment, with expertise in financial planning and customer portfolio management.
- Proven track record in client portfolio management.
- Strong presentation skills with a commercial orientation.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills to lead a driven team with promising results.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit and Risk, and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
- Certified Financial Planner qualification would be an advantage.
- Holder of relevant insurance and investment licenses and compliance with related Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
- Fluency in both English and Cantonese, with knowledge of Putonghua preferred.
