Responsibilities

The Cloud Implementation Manager will work closely with our Finance and Accounts teams to implement a cloud application that supports a full spectrum of Finance and Accounting functions. This includes:

  • Leading and managing the implementation and rollout of the new application across our China and Hong Kong firms
  • Consolidating customization requirements from each team to optimize overall functional needs
  • Coordinating implementation activities such as data migration, testing, and training
  • Identifying and overseeing application integrations
  • Developing data migration requirements and supporting data reconciliation
  • Designing test cases and scripts for testing and reviewing testing results to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Keeping track of project status, timelines, and identifying important milestones
  • Presenting regular updates to leadership, including key achievements, challenges, and recommendations
  • Liaising with global and local support teams to harmonize the implementation process
  • Collaborating with IT teams to resolve functional issues throughout the implementation and post-go-live
  • Ensuring applications comply with regulatory standards and internal protocols throughout the implementation phase
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the cloud implementation
  • Preparing documentation and operation manuals for users and administrators
  • Liaising to arrange trainings for various groups of users
  • Managing and documenting change requests
  • Performing other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Professional accounting qualifications are required
  • At least 10 years of related project management and accounting experience, preferably in a legal firm or professional services industry
  • Experience in Finance and Accounting application implementation
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
  • Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and vendors
  • Proven ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
