Role Overview:

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies tailored for the Greater China region and the Chinese market.
  • Oversee brand management, marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and public relations efforts.
  • Leverage insights into the Greater China region and the Chinese market to design impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Report directly to the Head of Marketing & Communications for Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Marketing & Communications efforts across Asia, focusing on the Greater China region.
  • Enhance internal communications and foster employee engagement programs.
  • Initiate and manage regional sponsorship activities and client-focused events.
  • Advocate for key sponsorships and oversee the development of marketing materials.
  • Establish and maintain media relations and manage external communications.
  • Produce compelling content for owned media channels.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing and communications within the luxury and hospitality sectors.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of Chinese culture and behaviors of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI).
  • Proven track record in executing successful event marketing strategies.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated success in rolling out marketing campaigns in major urban centers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
