Overview of the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Financing Solutions team in the APAC region. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management of client accounts, ensuring their needs are met effectively and efficiently. Your tasks will include addressing inquiries, updating program details, monitoring risks and performance, and preparing informative presentations for clients.

Importance of the Position

This role is vital to our operations at State Street Global Markets (SSGM). Our team plays a crucial part in providing research, trading, and innovative portfolio strategies to institutional asset owners and managers. Our primary goal is to enhance and safeguard our clients' portfolio values through advanced technology and optimized trading practices.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction with our Financing Solutions services and products.
  • Managing the process of updating client program parameters and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Overseeing internal risk and compliance matters related to client relationships and coordinating specific client requirements.
  • Monitoring client satisfaction and financial performance, proactively addressing any complaints and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitating communication with clients regarding program updates and changes.
  • Preparing presentations and performance reports for clients, including benchmarking data.
  • Conducting research on factors influencing clients' lending performance.
  • Collaborating with a regional Client Service team to support client needs across the APAC region.
  • Partnering with Financing Solutions Relationship Managers to enhance strategic client relationships.
  • Assisting in the onboarding process for new client relationships in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Working with Global Services and other divisions to address operational issues and explore cross-sales opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset for working across complex organizations.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, custody banking, and preferably the securities lending sector.
  • Experience with financial institutions or hedge funds.
  • Familiarity with MCH or DML is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (or Korean) and English is essential.
  • 2-5 years of experience in securities lending, custody banking, or accounting is preferred.
