Position Overview :

This role is a full-time temporary position with a duration of six months. The primary responsibility is to support the China Cross Border Business team in cultivating new business opportunities and maintaining robust relationships with institutional clients in China. The ideal candidate will focus on establishing mutual trust and a profound understanding of client needs by delivering exceptional service. Reporting to the Head of Cross Border, China Business, this individual will also assist in coordinating sales initiatives and marketing events to enhance Schroders' brand visibility and showcase our investment capabilities. Additionally, this role involves central coordination of proposal pitching and client onboarding processes in collaboration with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales & Marketing

Collaborate with the Head of Cross Border, China Business, to devise and execute business development strategies. Assist the team in nurturing relationships with assigned accounts and identifying new prospects. Prepare investment proposals and client presentations by effectively coordinating with internal stakeholders. Facilitate internal discussions regarding contracts and manage client onboarding processes, including KYC and account setup. Organize business activities such as online/offline roadshows, client meetings, and training sessions. Work closely with the Marketing team to enhance our profile and client recognition through events.

Client Services

Ensure timely and professional responses to client inquiries. Manage relationships across various time zones to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Key Qualifications :

A self-driven individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Capable of multitasking and performing under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. A dependable team player with a growth mindset, eager to learn and embrace challenges. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in the finance sector, with a preference for prior experience in asset management.
