Customer Service Operations Coordinator, Exams Management

The British Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Operations Coordinator to join its exams team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service experience, meeting key performance indicators for customer satisfaction, and contributing to the achievement of annual business targets.
Main Responsibilities- Customer Enquiry Handling:
- Respond to first-level customer enquiries received through various channels, providing accurate information on services offered by the British Council in a friendly and professional manner.
- Meet agreed-upon key performance indicators in customer contact resolution.
- Foster rapport with customers to understand their objectives, needs, and requirements, and progress their interests forward.
- Supply customers with correct brochures, application forms, and registration documents as needed.
- Support test takers who wish to register online at our premises.
- Forward all feedback and customer comments to the Assistant Manager – Customer Service within one working day and document them accordingly.
- Candidate Registration:
- Register exam candidates in a professional and courteous manner while adhering to established procedures.
- Work extended hours during registration periods if required.
- Data Management and Projects:
- Maintain up-to-date databases, records, and information files in line with requirements outlined by the AM – Customer Service.
- Ensure timely replenishment and availability of information brochures/leaflets.
- Update relevant knowledge files and databases/web/design posters according to requirements specified by the AM-CS.
- Complete specific projects and responsibilities assigned to each staff member in accordance with expected objectives.
- As duty officer, ensure designated tasks for the relevant shifts are accomplished.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
- Participate in Sales & Marketing Events to support customer enquiries and registrations.
- Education: University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Language: English C1 (Aptis, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent).
This position is locally recruited and welcomes applications from individuals with a natural right to work in the country. Candidates based in other British Council country offices can also apply, provided they have a natural right to work in the country on a permanent basis.
