Our Team

We are currently hiring a Team Member to join our Transaction Processing Division, which is responsible for the management of cash and settlement activities related to APAC markets, APAC currencies, and cash and securities netting with Clearstream.

About the Role

The Cash and Settlement department is a complex but exciting business that requires a highly skilled professional with strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling the processing of clients and cash correspondent cash instructions, repairing and following up on incorrect or incomplete instructions, and ensuring timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the processing of clients and cash correspondent cash instructions
  • Repair and follow up on incorrect or incomplete instructions with the clients (via queries) to ensure timely execution
  • Monitor the outflow of payments and run risk control checks
  • Ensure cash and settlement instructions are processed accurately and on time
  • Process cancellation requests from clients for their cash and settlement instructions
  • Process cash and securities realignment requests with Clearstream on a daily basis
  • Perform analysis and solve escalations or investigations together with experts and/or management
  • Liaise and handle queries from APAC cash correspondents and depositories
  • Provide assistance to Client Services for queries related to cash and settlement
  • Propose and implement new tools and applications to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Coordinate actions between stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes

Requirements

  • Possess an understanding of financial products and associated cash and settlement processes
  • Able to structurally communicate, both in verbal and written, among peers
  • Able to multi-task effectively in a strict deadline environment and have good priority management skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate at all times
  • Possess good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Works well with autonomy, open-minded, and a quick learner
  • Self-motivated and able to work with different teams
  • Previous experience in cash operations and/or settlement operations is a plus
  • Fluency in English and other languages, with Mandarin being a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel (Macro/VBA) skills is a plus
