Classy Wheeler Limited is seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for planning and controlling IT operations, including job scheduling and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement IT operations strategies to ensure seamless execution of IT tasks
  2. Define and maintain user access rights to internal computing systems, ensuring secure and controlled access
  3. Perform ad-hoc data updates and parameter changes of application systems in production environment, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity
  4. Provide administrative support on program version controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  1. Higher Diploma holder in Information Technology or related disciplines, with a strong foundation in computer operations and support
  2. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in computer operations and supports, preferably with experience in operating AIX, LINUX, Windows system platforms
  3. Knowledge of IBM Mainframe (Z/OS, JCL, CLIST, TSO) is an advantage, demonstrating expertise in mainframe operations
  4. Independent with logical thinking, able to analyze complex IT issues and develop effective solutions
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
