Job Functions: Risk Management

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and identify negative news and risk symptoms related to corporate borrowers and market information that may impact asset quality of the corporate lending portfolio.
  • Monitor corporate borrowers with elevated risk or overdue repayment and coordinate with frontline units and the Risk Management Department to develop risk mitigation strategies and participate in early recovery actions.
  • Participate in devising and implementing thematic reviews of corporate borrowers in response to emerging credit events or adverse changes in the external economic or business environment.
  • Conduct sample checks on loan usage and irregularities related to corporate lending to ensure compliance with the Bank's requirements and approved credit conditions.
  • Prepare reports on corporate borrowers and asset quality for the Senior Management, frontline units, and relevant departments.
  • Liaise with South-east Asian Branches to track corporate borrowers exhibiting risk symptoms.

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline; CFA, CPA, PRMIA-PRM, FRM, or related qualifications are preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate lending, credit risk management, credit approval/monitoring, portfolio analysis in the banking sector.
  • Self-initiated, good analytical and negotiation skills, and ability to perform multiple tasks within a tight schedule.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, etc.).
