Deputy Credit Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Credit Risk Manager to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will be responsible for developing and preparing retail credit portfolio management reports to ensure asset quality monitoring and reporting in response to credit policy formulation, business strategy, market environment, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Prepare Credit Reports: Create and maintain retail credit portfolio management reports on a regular basis to monitor asset quality and provide insights for credit policy formulation and business strategy.
- Perform Credit Data Analysis: Analyze credit data to identify potential credit risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation measures.
- Support Credit Policy Formulation: Provide analytical support for credit policy formulation, regular review, and enhancement.
- Enhance Credit Reporting: Continuously improve credit reports to streamline, centralize, and manage reporting data efficiently.
- Design and Develop MIS Data Infrastructure: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain the MIS data infrastructure for retail credit products to enrich credit reporting and analysis.
- Education: University degree holder in business management, economics, statistics, data science, technology, Fin-tech, finance, or risk management related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in credit risk management, MIS/analytics function of consumer lending business in a financial institution/bank.
- Skills: Sound knowledge of retail credit industry, good analytical skills, detail-minded, proficient in using SAS, Microsoft Excel (VBA), and SQL, good communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for the role of Credit Risk Manager (Analytics/Credit Monitoring).
