Role Overview:
The Associate will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships and ensuring consistent communication with distributors, particularly global and regional private banks, with the aim of enhancing the adoption of Blackstone's investment offerings. This position will also serve as a subject matter expert within one of the most varied collections of alternative investment products in the sector, requiring significant interaction with members of the firm's global Private Wealth Solutions group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional client service by addressing incoming inquiries and collaborating with colleagues across Blackstone and the Private Wealth Solutions team (including investments, legal/compliance, finance, and other departments) to resolve client issues as an internal sales representative.
- Provide comprehensive support throughout the entire fundraising process by working closely with global and local teams across various functions, from client onboarding to product launches and subsequent services.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of and ability to articulate Blackstone's sophisticated investment products, including fund objectives, terms, exposures, characteristics, positioning, and performance.
Qualifications:
Blackstone is looking for candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment, are highly driven, intelligent, possess sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in their previous roles. The ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor's degree.
- Relevant SFC Licenses (or the willingness to obtain them post-hire).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- A genuine interest in capital markets, alternative investments, and the retail and high-net-worth sectors in Greater China/Hong Kong.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
