Private Wealth Management (PWM)

Your Role and Impact

Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) act as trusted consultants to their clients, including high net worth individuals, families, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and select institutions such as foundations and endowments.

PWAs not only provide exceptional service and an unmatched investment platform but also serve as their clients' connection to the comprehensive offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic strategies, and private banking services.

PWAs and their teams deliver specialized support and advice tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of each client. This investment guidance is grounded in analytical rigor, considering a client's investment goals, liquidity requirements, and risk tolerance.

How You Will Achieve Your Potential

  • Utilize your unique background and experiences to cultivate a business within Goldman Sachs.
  • Collaborate with a team to identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting existing client relationships.
  • The New Private Wealth Advisor (NPWA) Development Framework enables new advisors to work within a team to gain comprehensive knowledge and acquire specialized expertise.
  • Develop the skills necessary to build relationships with clients and prospective clients while establishing a robust network of intermediaries.
  • Enhance your investment knowledge by creating asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations for clients.
