Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Oliver James Associates. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Design and develop data models and schemas that support reporting and analytics.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of BI solutions by optimizing queries, data models, and ETL processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI tools, data quality, and data integration.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Information Management.
  • Expertise in business intelligence development.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing complex Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Technical work experience with ETL, data models.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with cloud-based BI and data solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience in analyzing data in both structured and unstructured formats.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to derive and interpret critical metrics to improve product functionality and user experience.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling large datasets.
